10 days in Peru video

That one took me quite some time to put together ;) The trip to Peru took place almost exactly 1 year ago and it would be hard for me to explain why I needed so much time to work on that footage. Especially that I really enjoyed shooting and filming there and I hope that I'll have another chance to go to South America and maybe even go back to Peru.

Well, better late than never and here it is! A 2-minutes video featuring such places as Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Kuelap, Chachapoyas, Coporaque and Lima. Another video editing exercise and a way to bring back some great memories.

Hopefully, I'll be able to whip out a video from my recent trip to Vietnam much faster ;)

A little souvenir from Siberia.

Being in the first place a photographer, both filming and video editing are definitely something I never do.  Since couple of months I've been thinking about changing this and telling myself that maybe it's high time to try it and learn something new.

A 2-weeks stay in Siberia appeared to be an excellent occasion to plunge into the world of cameras, stabilizers and all related topics. Trying to film as much as possible while, above all being focused on taking photos, turned out to be pretty challenging and the final results were not quite what I'd be hoping for. Still it sure was a great training in filming and in editing later on as well. The post-treatment part was particularly interesting to me, putting different sequences together and searching for good fits, made me feel like playing with some crazy, moving jigsaw puzzles.

Working on this lil' video footage during the recent Easter holidays was my very first attempt in this field. 2 hours of raw material resulted in 2 minutes video (that you can watch below), making me realize how much there is to learn and improve... Still I hope you'll enjoy it and please feel free to let me know what you think :)
